CAA Met - John Standen

Hi guys,

Still un-employed! but accepted by Oxford if they have a vacancy end of March. Else it's stacking shelves at Tesco!

In the interim, have been asked by a bunch of rotor heads to run a CAA CPL met theory and practical course at Barton, Manchester, 18th, 19th & 20th Feb.

Anyone else wanting to join is welcome, £200 per person, give me a call on 01751 417598 for info.

Thanks for your support guys.

Those who know of my post graduate interests will be amused to hear that I just got access to 10,000 plus skeletons at the London Museum for my PhD research.

See there is a job at Guildhall, better apply for it as I could teach Met by day and examine skeletons by night!

John's the 'MAN'. .a rather flatulent one however.. .Still, as they say you can't make an omlete with out breaking eggs and you can't teach Met without breaking wind.. .Ok so I made the last bit up but I will say that you are an awesome instructor however I will never be able to open a MET book without laughing.

Still remember the day in one of my Met class assessment tests last summer when you got up out of your seat at the front of the class, purposely walked all the way to the back of the class in order to gracefully break wind next to my face!

I seem to remember (not only the very bad odour which not so gracefully, made its way across the room) that everyone was p+@sing themselves laughing!

Anyway glad to have passed 1st time too! Good luck oh FartMaster!
