A friend saw a convoy of four EC225 on lorries at Thruxton. The registrations of the aircraft had been taped over. Does anybody know where they were going?

There were five of them when the convoy left Aberdeen on Tuesday - let's hope they don't lose any more en route. :O

Standby for the world to be flooded with cheap copies of EC225s; I understand the RAF have been looking for a Puma replacement for ages; actually saw an RAF Puma a couple of days ago; been in service for about 50 years!

To be fair, the Chinese did obtain a licence to build their versions of the Dauphin, Squirrel and Super Frelon.

Reports from twitter from motorists who saw the convoy state only four aircraft.
Coincidentally the fatal accident enquiry into the 2013 accident started today.
