haven't read about it yet

A Bell 212 fire fighting helicopter was stolen, while the pilot was asleep.
He woke up to the sound, thinking a helicopter was coming in for landing, when he realised, that his helicopter flew away...

Drug run is a possibility, or a high end joy ride! How many pilots are there around that could/would want to pull a stunt like this.... that said the way work is who knows!

When I need a roll of visqueen to keep something dry or protected from sun I always make the mistake of being cheap and going for the thinner material. I always regret it as I'm sure these idiots must have when the wind split it apart and........"hey, that's not hay, there's a helicopter under that tarp". The rest of this story has got to be interesting.

It is incredibly easy to install a secret switch that deactivates igniters, or starter relay. The latter is best because if you get no spool, you get no fuel and it is obvious you forgot to flip the hidden switch.

I wonder how the owner or operator of the farm are going to explain away a hangar made of straw bales with a stolen 412 tucked away.

I think he will have more trouble explaining the large mass of drugs inside it.
