[Renewal] LPC B737CL with only NG experience

Hi guys,

Anyone up here who knows if it is possible to renew the B737 (-300/900) typerating doing it on a CL simulator, even if you have NG experience only? Any differences-training needed or so?

I would imagine it depends on your experience level.
I take it you are unfamiliar with the Classic?
It may well be easier and cheaper for yourself to bite the bullet and pay for an NG sim, if memory serves me rightly, there is one in Crawley at the Boeing Centre.
I would talk to your TRE and ask him/her, they will be able to give you better advise.
