Yesterday afternoon the PA-44 Seminole (PH MLH) from Martinair vliegschool Leylystad crashed in the Vossenmeer close to Dronten. All three pilots on board were killed. There was a 26 year old flying instructor and two student pilots both 21 years old.
Martinair Flying School concentrates on professional flying traing, so I would guess that it was a training detail for either the IR or twin rating. The cause of the accident is not yet known.
My thoughts are with the colleagues, friends and family of the three pilots.
