Can I ask for all viewers of this forum to read the similarly titled thread in the Aviation History and Nostalgia forum ( International Bomber Command Centre reopens (https://www.pprune.org/aviation-history-nostalgia/634142-international-bomber-command-centre-re-opens.html) ); the IBCC needs help!

I have had the fortune to visit the IBCC. It was excellent, and I highly recommend it to people who visit this forum.

I’m going to be controversial here.

Surely the wall of names (the most impressive bit) and the nasty rusty spire will last for years without funding? The building with the few exhibits attract all of the extra cost - does it really add anything meaningful to what originally set out to be a memorial overlooking Lincoln?
