Is there an exercise involving Army Wildcats in progress over south Lincolnshire at present?

There's been one around for the last couple of days and this afternoon one came over my strip (10 miles south of Sleaford) twice within an hour at a height of approx 100ft and in and out of the cloudbase most of the time.

Just curious as I don't often see this type around here and deffo not a problem. In fact bring it on!

Aviation enthusiasts have been reporting Wildcats using Holbeach range over the past couple of days.

Thanks TEEEJ. My strip is a good 20 miles to the east of the range but I suppose a bit of a jolly around Lincolnshire before and after a visit to the range makes for and enjoyable day.

It reminded me of the days when the Harriers out of Cottesmore passed overhead on their way and back to the Wash ranges.
