Dear All,

Is anyone able to expand on this reg regarding 3rd country (non member) licences. In my case, a holder of licences issued by non members including Australia; current ATR captain returning to UK. I appreciate this topic has been raised time & time again, however, it appears that the goal posts may have been changed slightly, with regards to the issuance of UK/EU licence to non member licence holders.

Section 3 (Conversion of licences) seems to say that this conversion process from an ICAO CPL or ATPL only gives an EASA PPL, if I’ve read it correctly.
