450- HP Stearman, G-AROY

When I was doing my PPL at Newtownards in 1963 John Jordan's Stearman was operating a spraying/dusting contract in N.Ireland. It was being flown by a Dutch pilot who I believe was ex-Dutch Air Force. Does anyone remember him, who he was, is he still around?.

Thank you Sycamore. Unfortunately John has been gone for a good few years and the chance that anyone at Jordans would know of anything that was happening 57 years ago is nil. More likely that someone who was in the business at that time would know.

According to `g-info`,it still has a CofA,but the present owner has been associated with it for many years,so should have all the books I would expect..Not many old `croppies` about these days...
