I notice that BA are operating daily flights to BOS, JFK, MIA, ATL, EZE, HKG etc.

Are these passenger flights, purely freight flights or a mixture of the two?

They must be a mixture of both, but probably leaning toward more freight than passenger. As countries are opening up, relatives and business people who need to travel are up for grabs by the airlines, so i'm sure that BA are happy to get their business to/from and through Heathrow to elsewhere.

Off the top of my head, currently it’s BOS, JFK (some), ORD, LAX and SFO (I may have missed a few). The rest are belly freighters except a few repatriation flights (denoted usually with a BA91** flight number).

Any shorthaul aircraft with a non-BA9*** flight number is operating for passenger purposes.

Ah ok. Are the Atlanta's just freight?

I flew out on the BOS on May 19th and was among 11 passengers if I remember correctly. Five of us travelling to ships in Boston and therefore exempt from the restrictions.
