My father-in-law is 87 and was a mechanic on Vulcans in the 1950/60s. I wonder if there is any organisation that would help him trace the details of his career (he has forgotten exact locations/dates) and perhaps put him in touch with former colleagues.
Any help most welcome.

Many thanks,

LGS

Apply for his service records. That will give you all his postings etc

Do you have his Discharge Certificate? Does your wife know of any bases at which he served and when? have you looked at any paperwork, photo albums or other memorabilia? Do you you have any non Vulcan stuff which might date things?

LincsFM is absolutely right - it's the key to all else.
