Evidently a quiet news day in Liverpool yesterday:

I think it was a Nimrod but I'm no expert

Just goes to show that the sighting of a military aircraft - that is actually flying - is a newsworthy event in the UK.

There was an A400M flying circuits at LGW last week - did about 4. Not a type I often see here.

Typical local rag nonsense. At least twice when the electricity company EC135 has been doing the power line survey locally, Cornwall Live has had a 'why was this yellow helicopter flying low?' item on its site.

Touch and Goes apparently, then the hub caps went missing.

On Sunday there was something called an A400M Atlas ZM407, using Liverpool. There has been a number of RAF visits recently. No reports of hub caps on anything else missing, by the way !

During employ in west Cumbria & after a particularly ferocious winter storm, the local rag's headline was "Storm Damages Bus Shelter". Real Craggy Island stuff.
