Linton's 25th Anniversary FlypastDespite being a significant event, the 25th anniversary of operational flying by No.1 FTS at Linton-on-Ouse seems to have been overlooked by many. Does anyone have significant information / memories, etc - especially who flew the Chipmunk, Vampire T Mk.11 or three different marks of Jet Provosts?

I'm sure this 25th Anniversary Flypast will be covered in the station scrap-books which I suspect like the majority of the superb Memorial Room are I believe being donated to the Yorkshire Air Museum archives so give them a few months and email an enquiry to YAM ?

I also looked in Peter Masons book 'Wings Over Linton : The History of Royal Air Force Linton-On-Ouse (1937 -1994)' but there was no mention in there and I understand that another Linton history book is being written to coincide with the station closure at the end of 2021 ?
