Anyone know what the British Regional policy is on jumpseat requests? I am off to the sunny south (well Stanstead) from the currently sunny North (MAN) on one of their EB145s this evening. Hopefully it is Captain’s discretion in which case my carefully crafted note and log book should give me a good chance.

Not sure whether to congratulate or commiserate on the BA purchase though?!!

They are not 'supposed' to have flight deck visitors according to company policy, but you may find if you ask and have ID of some sort that you are able to get a visit.

Bare in mind there isn't much room on the ERJ145 Flight deck once the jumpseat is down, so it can be quite an upheaval!

Ask when you get on what have you to loose?

I got a jumpseat ride with BRAL recently and it was all arranged before hand and there seemed to be no problems from their end!

(BTW - Just noticed that my post is a bit late!)
