Hi,
is it possible for a 320 or 319 to be retrofitted with Additional Centre Tanks (ACT) or is it only a fit at manufacturing?

Cheers

I believe it can be done an all series of a320 family from any production age.

look at this

As posted all series of a320 can have ACTs. Retrofit MOD or from build. The latest long Range tanks are built differently to existing ACTs using greater use of space to hold greater capacity. I think I saw 4 ACTs on a airfrance once!

I've seen some A321s with ACTs fitted but I couldn't tell you if they were a factory or retro fit.
The only ones I've dealt with are on the ACJ319 (Corporate A319)

Yes there is a mod for existing aircraft. There is a slight difference between the ACJ and the standard aircraft with the tanks.

4 tanks on the A319 works well gives a good range (easy 10 hour endurance). Any longer would not be fun.
