Thanks for posting this, mmitch. It says something about us that we are so busy throwing stones at other people that we don't have time to reflect on this event Having watched the vid, I think our Service did an excellent job, in very difficult circumstances, of paying tribute to the RAF's 20,000+ WW2 casualties with no known grave. It would have been easy to have let this slip as being TFD because of Covid-19. My mother's cousin is remembered at Runnymede, lost as a 27-year old Wg Cdr with 2 DFCs under his belt (Mosquito squadron commander on ASW tasks). I for one am glad this annual act of remembrance went ahead.
