Noticed this USAF V22 flying around in circles today near Hereford, and by the looks of it, it's been doing the same thing for almost 7 hours!

Just out of sheer curiosity, does anybody know what it's upto, and does the V22 have 7 hours worth of endurance?

Most likely practicing an SF mission profile with the good people based in that area, Endurance provided by refuelling courtesy of Mildenhall.

Noticed the V22 Activity around Hereford as well, later they were spotted off the West Wales coast before returning to Mildenhall via Cardiff and over me in Newport around 23:00hrs. Second one was around 5 mins behind the first one, both showed 11000ft on Virtual radar, distinct sound they make, clear night but could only make out their nav lights.

Noticed they spent over 8 hours for 3 day in a trot circling over Hereford, interesting!
