Just got this from a friend and figured I would ask here...."Just watched a Coastguard Helicopter winching someone off Beinn an Ņir (Biggest Pap), around 16.00. After about 15-20 minutes it flew to the mainland. Know nothing about it - an exercise?"

Most probably CG199 out of Prestwick doing some training.

AW189 G-MCGT was out that way from Prestwick.
Squawking 7401/4520, not 0023, so probably training and thus c/s CG199.
