How, tell me how does anyone think in anyway this operation can fall into the government idea of ‘furlough’ ?

A company that employs pilots without an airline to fly for? . I’m just asking the obvious question as to how that could work in any circumstance..

In the same way as any other business I guess, if you left employment you can ask them to keep you on for a further 3 months to claim furlough payment. OSM is still PAYE so I don’t see why it should be treated any different. Lots of people may not have companies to return to in all sectors. I hope everyone gets the support they need.

Interesting times ahead, new law being passed in Norway today that gives bankruptcy protection.

Why does it bother you? Or are you just desperate to see thousands of unemployed pilots and cabin crew unable to put food on the table?

I’ve got a friend who’s a dwarf and he struggles to put food on the table.

You’ve lost me fella. The reply to your post was a valid one given your wild rant above. Your ad hominem attack is both unwarranted and unnecessary.
The irony of accusing others of shaming our profession is seemingly lost on you sir.

The OP has a point, but it is one about a ship that sailed out of port a very long time ago, never to return.
You'll note, of course, that most, if not all, members of the BDA and BMA are or were or are now part of the time, state employees. If BOAC and BEA were still around the OP's point would have more relevance today.

Indeed as You point out there is a new law in Norway , as I understand it an addition to " Gjelds Forhandlinger". Debt Negotiations in direct translation or what is close to US Chapter 11.
Now Gjeld forhandlinger is when at least 2/3 of the lenders agree to a up to 75% eradication of debt.
I dont have the new details but it must entail less then 2/3 and or more then 75% debt eradication.

With regards to OSM , it is run by a criminal , enough said.

Pilots and CC employed by U.K. company . This satisfies the requirements for U.K. government, what axe do you have to grind ?
