Hi

Just wondering if any knows if the anti inflammatory Indomethacin is disqualifying for a Class 1 medical (UK) or has anyone any experience taking it?

It is related to a possible very mild version ( symptoms are not incapaciting more annoying) of Paroxysmal hemicrania but not officially diagnosed just a possibility. Apparently it's classified under Trigeminal Autonomic Cephalagias (TAC).

Thanks for for your help,

The drug will be fine after taking it for 2 weeks with no side effects. The reason for taking it may be an issue. If you have repeated headaches I suspect you will have to jump through some tests to

a show the headaches are not incapacitating in any way

b demonstrate there is no underlying relevant pathology.

In other words you will need to be fully worked up. Might be worth trying to get this done as a regular NHS patient as otherwise the costs could stack up

Good luck
