Does anyone here have a recollection of a military jet (possibly a Scimitar) making an emergency landing in Sumburgh in 1965, after running low on fuel? It has become a source of numerous local stories, but amazingly, no-one has any recollection or pictures of the event. Anyone here have any memories or knowledge of this event?
