Hello all,

CAE have been reported as closing three training centres - can anybody advise which European centres will be affected (beyond Brussels and Milan - assuming Burgess Hill will also be affected as the UK has moved beyond social distancing measures) and, if available, an expected closure timeframe?

Thanks for the info Dirk. Do you know if the bizav side will be affected? I’m assuming they’re being a lot more defensive with operators on account, etc.

Not sure, but the choice to be open/closed is hugely dependant on local legislation: countries are being more or less stringent on how to fight this coronavirus thing, and simulators would be classed as non essential activities, hence to be closed ufn in some countries.
I would say it’s the time to be less stringent with operators, if theh want to have any client, but what do I know.

The issue is not only if the centres are open or not, but the the issue of getting there.

And getting HOTAC when you are there.
