Gavin Wills, a name from the past, remember doing a climbing course with him in the ealy 70's and seeing the Piper cub zipping by!

that’s an interesting thought. Where’s was the safety data to support the new regs and what does the safety data show re accident rates post new regs?

It would seem that the CAA in NZ have taken a leaf out of the UKs Company Against Aviation's book.
In UK they don't like people enjoying aviation, so they do something about it :-(
