Hi all,

I know this has been asked ad nauseam (I did use the search function), however I thought I'd ask my own questions. Canadian ATPL holder with 4,000hours, 2,000 multi turbine PIC. If I convert my license, what are the chances of finding a job south of the border? Any places out there offer sponsorships, or would I have to get a work visa/green card to start? Specifically interested in UPS. I'm fairly certain the chance is the smallest decimal before 0.

Thanks.

High_F,

It appears to be a steep hill to climb. If people are doing what you propose, they're pretty quiet about it. And UPS is a very tough nut to crack as it's a great job and hiring comparatively few pilots. Take a look at this if you haven't seen it already (hard to tell what AW is doing these days):

Some U.S. regional airlines are now sponsoring Canadians for the H1B Vis - (http://www.avcanada.ca/forums2/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=122708)
