Hello people! I am a fresh graduate with CPL/IR (no ME). I only have 172 hours. I do not know what my next move should be. Should I try to get a Flight Instructor license and build my hours or get a type rating and apply for a job in the airline?

Go to the US and try to get to at least 300 hours, then you can apply to Wizz Air. Assuming you are from Europe...

I believe Aero Circus is about to release a new book “So You Want To Be A Pilot” aimed at pilots in you situation. Might be worth a look.

Why to go to US? Why not to fly in europe?

Cheaper and dead easy.
By all means, flying in Europe would be better if he could afford it.

EDIT
I have just noticed the OP's location is Kuala Lumpur, so ignore my comments. Just get to at least 250 hours somehow and apply to Susi Air. You can start the recruitment process with 200 hours but you need 250 to start flying with them.

I'm planning to get an ATP license in Malaysia and then look for a job in the regional airline there. Do you think it's a good idea?
