Sowing lessons before heading off?

He is dumping fuel and has been circling our area for the last 45 or so.

Hope it’s just a minor glitch. Pilot left their headlights on.

Grammar: "sewing" lessons, unless you need a lesson in throwing seeds into a sown field.

5800ft seems to be a better height than DAL89.

That's great for the SLF - wonder if it was the original flight crew. If so, what sort of duty time will they complete when they sign off in Doha??

Came here to say this. Honestly thought I had typed the website wrong, with the type of posts on here lately.

In fact he was conducting a "fuel jettison," just as described in the manual.
A "dump" is something the less couth conduct the morning after a steak and a few pints.
By the way, he wasn't on "finals", he was on final. Do you also fly "bases" or "downwinds"? There's only one final approach per runway.
There you go, now you know the proper terminology.

Ferried to Sydney yesterday at 12000ft and the gear down, then into the hangar.

Good job to the engineers who fixed it. Now on the way back to Doha with, one assumes, gear up.
