Has anyone any on the ground feedback or actual data on how the ‘new’ airport handled the recent diversions from the closed Alicante?
When I checked there were some
30 flights in and out on the full day.
great and a massive uplift on daily traffic for an airport that’s been struggling to find its feet since the unpopular closure of San Javier MJV - AENA must have been grateful to have such a new airport with lots pf stands and capacity so close to Alicante to not hugely rely on Valencia or even more cancellations. Be great to hear how they got on!
(Couldn’t find a thread for RMU used to be a Corvera one but must be archived as I can’t see it - if an admin can merge this to it be grateful)
