Happy New Year All and hope you all had a good Xmas,

in just over a fortnight, will be descending on Disney .....so how many Ppruners be attending? Yes it was a shock when the announced how early it be compared to the tradition Feb/March time. I am led to believe it is to do with the convention center is maxed out with events so somehow some compromise was needed with regard to dates.

I am led to believe, that Coulson Unical CU-47D (may) be making its debut again this year....

cheers and look forward to seeing you all there.

I will be there for the whole time. You may find me at the TOPS booth, RSI booth or various meetings during the day.

I am also running for the Board of Directors position again--- Click here for a bio and what I stand for... (https://www.heliopsmag.com/gordy-cox-an-intro)

And shameless bio plug here too:

Born into an aviation family, I have been in professional aviation since 1982 when I joined the British Royal Air Force. Since leaving in 1989 I have served in various roles, holding the positions of line pilot, instructor, Chief Instructor, Chief Pilot, Director of Operations and numerous committee positions, across a wide spectrum of the industry.

Along with still being an active pilot, I strive on a daily basis to run a company as ethically and regulatorily compliant as possible, while still watching out for the bottom line. I am a huge proponent of “education and outreach”, and I would like the privilege to utilize my experience to safeguard, enhance, improve, and grow our industry. Those who know me, realize that I am not afraid to ask the questions that need asking.

For those wondering why January?

HAI had committed to a number of years in Louisville, 2020 being one of them. After comments from Heli-Expo 2016, HAI elected not to return to Louisville. Convention centers are booked many years in advance and Anaheim was only available in January by the time the switch was made.

I will be there again this year, hoping for some nice and sunny weather.

Fly Safe, Always :ok:

Can everybody vote Gordy and if so where?

I believe it is only "commercial operator members", and even then only one vote per company.
