Translift Group was established in 2004 by the founding director Jurgen L J Dale doing aviation research and development until 2008 it started aircrafts selling and leasing then start up and operate a small flying school called Allied Aviation Academy in 2011. Inspite of the high demand in air transport and shortage of airline pilots in the South East Asia, Africa and Pacific, Translift Airworks Ltd develop a plan to operate commercial airline services, aircraft manufacturing plant and a helicopter company so that its students from flying school can build hours in its subsidiary companies in preparation for direct employment.
Our research and projections indicate that air travel ( private, leisure & business) collaborate with aircraft demand to and from within Papua New Guinea rural communities and Asia Pacific region is sufficient to build a new aircraft manufacturing plant with excellent revenues in its first 24 months of operations, utilizing six aircraft mould and selected jigs template under one building. These sales figures are based upon primary proposed of 300 aircraft for both two seater and 4-6 seater in twenty four months. Third year revenues are expected to more than double with additional aircraft and expanded routes resulting from low cost aircrafts and opening up more rural airstrips. The Translift Airworks and PNG Aircraft and Drones plan has the potential for a more rapid ramp-up than was the case with private single engine aircraft due to the nature of the routes and the demand for travel currently in the targeted markets served. In short, the rising number of third level airline and private leisure or business aircrafts needed to serve Translift Airworks target market exceeds the demand that dictated by the growth of rural needs for air transport
