That A321 got swapped around like a ragged doll.

"...like a ragged doll.",Yeah, that's not just a brush of the rudder with the triple's wing-tip - looks like it hit the 321's vertical stabilizer. It shouldn't occur if both a/c are within their parking zones so it will be interesting to learn where the A321 was parked, (assuming the tow was on the centerline).

Is there wing creep on the triple when it in the turn?
On another swept wing aircraft I am familiar with, the sweep of the wing results in the wing tip extending beyond the documented wingspan.

The 777 will take any opportunity to prove that it's a tank.
Glad no one was hurt.

It's a swept wing..so yes, you get "swept wing growth"

"The Boeing has since returned to service but the Airbus is still being repaired." Well we've finally put that debate to bed after 40 years.... ;-)

Wide body tows should be on lane 13E but driver took 13 instead. Experienced crews off for Xmas holidays. Tough way to end a brief ground crew career. Expensive lesson for AC.

This should also be a lesson for the authorities, in Canada AND worldwide. STOP this very ambiguous marking/naming of taxiways. Would it not have been simpler to rename 13e something else. There are way too many confusing taxiways, airways and rules around the world. People are being set up to make mistakes. The authorities should take some of the blame here.

Some time ago I was turning on to stand in a 777 and it didn’t look quite right to either of us so I stopped. It was dark, wet and I’d followed the only line I could see at the time, which happened to be the wrong one for the type even though it had the right number on it. Was able to be marshalled onto the correct line, so not irretrievable but I think I would have got *very* close to the aircraft in the next bay if I’d carried on... :ooh:

I’ve been flying out of LHR for >20 years and I still feel the need to double check at this end:
