Reported five fatalities. The aircraft was on its way to Atlanta for the College Football Championship semi-final game - and that one of the fatalities was the daughter-in-law of one of the LSU coaches.
Sad indeed :(

Found this on friends FB as his sister is contender for the Miss Mississippi and hence they have connections with Miss Louisiana of which the aforementioned victim Carly is the daughter.

RIP

I never saw any follow up on this and googled today to see if there was ever an explanation... according to the below article something with the propellers? Can someone explain from the article below what it may have been?

Aviation Investigation - 29 Docket Items - CEN20MA044 - Description: N42CV, Piper PA 31T (https://data.ntsb.gov/Docket?ProjectID=100739)

See Item 21 (caution - long report)

Okay - so I'm not a pilot or an engineer - it seems like there was an issue with the propeller that caused it to rotate slower than it should have to maintain airspeed? that report was way over my head in technical detail :)
