I have 1800 TT/ 500 PIC on the B737, looking for airlines outside of China that are hiring expats. I contacted Lion Air and right now, they’re not hiring expats due to the high cost of employing them. I can’t pass a Chinese/Taiwanese medical due to vision issues. I was hired by Eva but couldn’t pass their medical.

1800TT or on B737? If it is total time including 500 PIC, then you'd better return back to square one! Minimum TT required for captain position is usually not less than 3000h and also it is very strange that you got your atpl at 1300h and went straight to the left seat B737 then quit after 500h...maybe I'm wrong

If it is 1800h on B737 including 500h PIC, and you have a total flight time more than 5000 h, then the only one place I know is Rwandair via Spectrum (not via Rishworth) Indonesia has stopped hiring expats and currently B737 jobs are scarce. Anyway all that will change soon after the max return, inch'Allah :)

1800 total on the B737 including 500 PIC. I’d take a job swinging gear, not picky.

There are Srping and Skymark also in Japan but the minimum required is 1000 h pic and the medical is pickier than in Taipei) If you are keen to stay in Asia and need to fly asap for any reason I suggest FO position with US Bangala FO first and to be patient a bit till the max return. But you need to hurry because they have many candidates from Regent, Jet Airways, Sriwijaya, ....

It may be a cultural misunderstanding , but, referring to a co-pilot position as a "gear swinging" job, does not show much respect for the position. If you, as a PIC, sees the co-pilot position as such a demeaning position, then I feel tremendous sympathy for them.
