Stored Boeing 737 Max aircraft

Learned contributors,
I am aware that all or almost all of the B.737 Max aircraft delivered to airlines and subsequently stored are receiving appropriate maintenance checks while stored, BUT are the vast numbers stored by Boeing since completion but before delivery also receiving care and maintenance ?

It's hard to imagine that undelivered aircraft, for which Boeing still has responsibility, are being neglected to the point where they would need remedial work (over and above the post-MCAS mods) in order to return them to an airworthy state.

Periodic maintenance of an aircraft that's long-term grounded isn't complicated - the Maintenance Manual details the tasks that have to be done, and how often. I'm confident that those are being carried out, either by Boeing or on its behalf.

Thank you for the reply, must be a growing logistical nightmare. There must be around 400+ aircraft now?

There are a few parked around Paine Field (Everett) - maybe a dozen or so. Most are parked around Boeing Field (a few car parking lots have been used), and Moses Lake in central Washington. Moses Lake is normally quite dry so not a bad place for extended storage (although not as good as the desert Southwest US). Others have been headed south to more common aircraft storage areas (e.g. Victorville) as they've run out of room in Washington state.
