Do I need to convert the ATPL frozen license issued in Italy once hired by Wizzair?

Ask Wizzair. You can fly any EASA aircraft with an EASA licence, but some airlines make you get "their" licence anyway to keep the paperwork simple.

I have an EASA licence and I didn't have to convert it to Hungarian... So I think you will be fine :)
