So, you’re desperate to fly Airbus A320’s? Sure, lower your standards to this crap place to work for and enjoy a free bottle of water and the crew-rest in the last seat row as you illegally do round trips to Brazil and Colombia against any ICAO standard!
As my previous posts got deleted again, I would like to remind everyone that ****SMART Chile is a company full of lying managers, many imaginary promises and nothing to show for! Disgustingly disappointing!
As much as they are abusive, the office also has this self-image of being the hottest gig in town... what a bunch of looser!
Yeah, they want to bring the cheapest tickets to the South American Continent, but in the end it’s YOU who will pay for it! Their pilot union reps are also only interested their own long term agenda and kiss more management butt than imaginable...
So if you want to live in the most expensive Latin American Country, work for close to nothing while sucking up to the bosses like any other street hooker while living in debt working for some arrogant idiots, ****Smart Chile is THE place you should go...

What is the salar?
As a commander, net in pocket, during high season, you’ll make no more than US$ 6.2 grand; slash this to 60% during low season, which is 5 monthly paychecks a year
Local taxes are extremely high and there are no exemptions for foreigners, living costs are just as high, and as the local economy is taking a backspin things don’t. And beware if you get sick, you won’t get paid for those days unless they are more than 10 total a year...
Then you get to pay your mandatory retirement fund, medical and dental.
Not to forget that the company does not provide transport, so you’ll need to buy a vehicle. They barely pay for parking at the airport...

Now that desperation is setting in, this company is starting to hire… but only if you’re a suck-up, ex-FACH or hold an Uruguayan passport will you be elegible for career advancement…
I highly recommend staying away!
