This is a very awkward subject. On investigation it was found that no-one in the British institutions responsible for this decision understood what a shower was, nor what it was used for.
A Mr Nigel Smith-Paterson-Patel, Senior decision maker and Tea drinker, stated he believed that these positions were used to work in the ships laundry, just like on his Grandfather`s fleet of Steam ships.
Other members of the same team thought the CSA abbreviation stood for “Cute Sexy and Available ”
Because of this confusion they had asked for information from Emirates. Unfortunately, all those contacted had previously been employed in some Euro low cost airline, so were also unaware of what a shower was.
The Emirates spokesman did reply that they would look into the problem, but promised none of these crew members would be over 50 years years old.
