Anyone got any tips on aviation CV´s? I read that there are ´special ways´ to format your pilot CV to fall into line with the industry standard, but can´t find any help on what the correct format actually is.

Is there a set standard? Or should you just follow a normal CV format like you would for any other job?

Thanks for any input.

www.findapilot.com (http://www.findapilot.com)

they have CV's posted, you can get a fair idea.

The Royal Aeronautical Society have an example on their website (can't remember the site address) and the format is closely followed on Oxford's website (or is it the other way around?)

Cheers,

There was considerable discussion on this topic here a couple of months ago, with some very useful advice. I won't recap - you can find it yourself if you do a search.

Here's one or two starters: A CV Thread (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7613)

Another CV Thread! (http://www.pprune.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=54496)
