There seems to be rather a lot of unrest within the club at the moment, can anyone expand on it please?

Perhaps you could expand on what unrest you are referring to - or (as this is your first post) are you just trolling?

Just a general feeling as I've flown in few times, don't know what relevance a 1st post has.

What flying club doesn't have unrest? Clubs in general seem to bring out the best and worst in people. You sometimes find people who haven't really had any power in their work life and suddenly are on the board of a club and try to create an empire, or business people who try to apply their years of business experience to a club run by volunteers and membership subscriptions or well meaning volunteers who have a lot of time but don't have the people to really manage. Maybe there is a point when a club outgrows itself?
That said Sherburn has seemed a professionally run airfield, with a nice clean fleet of aircraft and a busy patio of aviation enthusiasts and pilots enjoying beers whilst critiquing the numerous landings.
