Regarding IJM.. I have heard quite incredible stories..
f/o’s On 1500 euros pm, captains on 3500 euros pm, while the company is billing the client 12000 euros pm for crew plus management costs plus expenses.
The ceo felix feller has been accused of withholding pilot’s salaries and expenses for no reason. Extending duty periods endlessly Running minimal crew endlessly. Doctoring flight and duty hours to suit his own personal agenda. Massaging figures with sharp pencils. And many more misdemeanours. Can this be true? If so where are the Austrian authorities?

Whilst any management company is deserving of a reasonable profit should it really be at the expense of it’s employees, staff and clients, just so the ceo can get rich? I think not.

There must be some level of truth to this - it’s what you hear around in the corners. Safety is NOT a priority at this company and the crew pay that you mention will obviously attract only the best of the best - who wouldn’t want to work for this clown circus.

I used to work for IJM. I was salaried €12,000pm which turned up on time every month. Never had an issue with them. Chief pilot is an easy going chap, company seemed OK to me. Only left when the aircraft moved. They are a lot better than the total shower I have just left!

well, that’s good to know. How long since aircraft moved and obviously the client wasn’t happy with IJM?

obviously the client wasn’t happy with IJM?

Thats a very narrow way of looking at it.

Maybe, but not invalid.

I can tell you from first hand that out of many aircraft that left IJM in the last couple of years, only 2 or 3 were unhappy with the management.

Thanks for that factual input.
