Hi all,
first post for a long long time but I need some advice on whether it’s possible to move, as a UK 737 Examiner/Training Captain, to AUS or NZ? I hold a UK passport but no other residency. I’m really not bothered on aircraft type or airline I would just like to get a stable position with a reputable airline, if it’s RHS then so be it.
Is it possible?

Employment is not your current problem, obtaining an Australian working Visa is the issue problem. A bit of light reading..........
https://www.gov.uk/guidance/living-in-australia (https://www.gov.uk/guidance/living-in-australia)
https://www.australia.gov.au/information-and-services/immigration-and-visas/migration-to-australia (https://www.australia.gov.au/information-and-services/immigration-and-visas/migration-to-australia)
https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list)
The Skilled Occupation List is HERE (https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list). Aeroplane Pilot is on the list as ANZSCO Code 231111. I think only the Sub Class 482 may apply to you?
I doubt you will get employer sponsorship .... and good luck with CASA as the Assessing Authority!
I suspect if Brexit happens new UK - Australia trade and immigration agreements may be implemented which may help your case.
No idea about New Zealand, but I think they may be a bit easier in respect to skilled migration?

Air NZ tried to list airline pilot as a skill shortage around 6 years ago. Went down like a cup of cold sick with the GA industry and the unions.

I think this is probably a fair assessment of your chances in Australia if you don't have a family right to live here or a wife that qualifies for as professional work Visa.

You could do a hairdressing course on FEE-HELP, come in that way, no probs. But as a 'jet transport pilot' ? No way mate, best in the world already here.
