Good afternoon.

I’m fortunate to have an interview soon - and I’m in my very late 50s. 1000H FI. Ex-RAF rearcrew.

The airline has a mixed fleet and is in a period of transition in that area.

Wondering whether to address my age at interview & suggest that if selected be Type Rated on an aircraft type that the airline is going to retire within say, 5 years? Or keep shtum. Give the Big 5 as it were? 😉😎

say nothing it will be obvious how old you are, you are clearly very experienced so mention the positives, good luck!

don't mention it and they're not allowed to ask.

Dear Covec,

Not that I can offer any advice on the interview front, but I read your post and just wanted to say all the best, I think it's inspirational hearing of individuals such as yourself.

Regards,
DL.
