Hi all,
Im a rotary cousin requesting on behalf of a colleague in the mining sector for ad hoc aircraft charter out of Perth to mining sites in the Pilbara region. Prefer Turbo Prop or Light Jet.

If anyone has any recommendations I could pass on to him that would be great.

Cheers.

BT :)

Give Star Aviation a call, King Air and Chieftain operator based out of Perth International that specialise in ad hoc mining and VIP charter.

If you're after a jet, try either Maxem or Revesco

Try Star Charter or Maxem. They will help you out.

Try Maroomba as well.

Thanks, Car. The Mod's held this one as I'm a new member. Hence the double post.

No I don't work for either of the operator's you mentioned buddy. Used to work with, but not for the owner of Maxem, he's a good guy. I have also worked for Star.

Perhaps Maroomba can supply them with a King Air (cross-hired from Star) or a Lear Jet (also cross-hired)

Good luck Belly.

Maroomba do not have a jet. The best they could offer is a B1900.

Better to go with Maxem or Star.

Thanks Fred.

A family friend who’s a lamen to aviation was after an ad hoc charter service to fly from Perth to Onslow for himself and execs upto 5 a few times a month.

Yes I’ve advised him of Virgin however they want their own machine to suit their schedule.

Yeah, do not think Maroomba can do it for you.

Sounds like Fred works for Maxem or Star...

one post about another operator “they’ve only got a 1900 or dash 8”... next post ”only got a 1900” so which is it buddy? ... next post “do not think they can do it for you”....twice mentioning they don’t have a jet- well, belly tank did ask about turboprops too, hence why I have mentioned Maroomba as another option.

they also have a King Air.
B200, 1900 or Dh8 are all capable aircraft types of 5 people to/from Onslow.

No, I don’t work for Maroomba.
Keep all your options open belly tank- ask each place your own questions now that you’ve got a few names to try.

But another 1 hour each way though compared with a decent jet.

Which may or may not be an issue for belly tank’s mate. When he calls all the places and gets the info from the horses mouths he can make the decision on what’s suitable for them.

Thanks Car. Amended my double post, Mod's held the other one waiting for approval, me being a new joiner and all.
Maroomba don't have a Jet for charter do they? Only suitable aircraft would be the 1900, or 5 people in a Dash8.

Network have F100's available.

Depends on the budget I guess.
