I used to fly out of Freeway airport, a 2,420-foot one-runway operation in Bowie, Maryland that pilots call "Freaky Way". There is an huge turf farm right across U.S. 50 (the heavily utilized highway between Washington and Annapolis) which offers a good set down target for EFATO or landing short scenarios. The craft looks to be a Mooney (N202JB*) which didn't quite make it. Good thoughts to the two aboard the airplane and the two automobile passengers.
