John Ruse, former Chief Pilot of Yanda Airlines passed away last night (08/09/19) aged 93.

My condolences to all Johns family.
I haven’t been in contact with John for over 35 years, however I always remember him as one of the nicest people.
he used to let us into the drive in when he managed that, and I think I did my second or third flying lesson with him at Aeropelican back in 1976. I use to go for rides in the C402 from Aeropelican -Sydney return as a kid with John. Lovely bloke. Good memories.
