My family are presently stuck in a foreign country with only the clothes we’re currently wearing. Easyjet staff assured everyone that their bags would be on their flights - didn’t happen. Although we arrived 2 1/2 hours early, we missed our flight because we couldn’t check in, however, the staff took our bags. Then told to rebook a later flight through customers services - another three hour wait. Tried to forget the whole thing and leave. Asked for luggage back but told it had gone airside so not possible to return it. Every member of staff told us something different. Apparently, it’s not possible to trace baggage despite having a bar code - so what’s the point of providing one of those sticky receipts then??

Called Easyjet but surprise, surprise, they are so overloaded with calls no one can get through. All very well advertising what wonderful customer support these companies offer - until it all goes t!t5 up.
