Can anyone ID this aircraft seen over Oxford today around 2.50pm?
Nothing I can see about it on FR24.
Sorry its blurry and small...

Thank you.

Looks like a Dornier 228 to me.

I'd say a Dornier 228 as well.

This one was active around Oxford today at about that time:

RAF Falcons always used to use a Hercules but I suppose as all the short fuselage ones have been withdrawn, maybe it's too expensive to use a Mk 4 so looks like they've chartered this from Canada.

The Mk3 was a "K" model Herc, which all went a long time ago now. The "J" model in RAF service is either a Mk4 (long body) or a Mk5 (standard body).

"The newest aircraft in the RAF Falcons fleet and our primary jump platform is the Dornier 228. Provided by Summit Air, this dual engine aircraft with side door exits provides everything that the RAF Falcons need to produce the exciting show you will see today."

Presumably the CAA haven't cleared the Do228 for para dropping hence the retention of the Canadian reigstration.

I suspect it's still owned by Summit (they have five Do228s in total) and wetleased/chartered to the Falcons.

Perhaps locally-owned Do228's lack the optional roller door at the rear that this bird appears to have...

I'm sure that's correct.

Here's what the door looks like from inside the aircraft when in the opened position:
