Down in Cheltenham for a few days and I’ve seen a couple of B2s overhead.

Are they staging through Fairford or Lakenheath/Mildenhall?

Must have missed them, I live in Cheltenham and they normally fly straight over the house and work.

My cousin shared a post on Facebook yesterday from Dover Straight Shipping showing two being escorted by F35's over Folkestone One comment says they're at Fairford which they quite often are.

They have just been featured on the itv news conducting exercises with the RAF. Three of them are going to be here for two months.

The B-2s arrived at Fairford during the early hours of Tuesday 27th.

They joined up with the F-35s over the channel for a photo shoot.

Some absolutely stunning photos of them together with RAF F-35's over the south coast here:

Rumours of a deployment to Fairford have been rumbling for a few weeks now.

... perhaps that's why they're called STEALTH bombers? :)

The photos only show two, so the stealth coating must be better on the third!

Just had a look at the Sun article. Pretty sure the MOP is a Mass Ordnance Penetrator rather than a Perpetrator!

I saw them in formation with other aircraft, flying west to east over Blakeney on the north Norfolk coast on Thursday afternoon. I wasn't quick enough to get my camera out of its bag and in any case I had the wrong lens fitted.

Those 40 hour missions from Whiteman over Afghanistan must have been quite interesting....

It is just Political Correctness in action when "Penetrator" suddenly became "Perpetrator"!

We must not be sexist you know!

That kind of talk might "trigger" some folk.
