Heard that VS are having some operational problems with the new machines and that rostering have screwed up on the selection of crews for recent flights ex-LHR.

Any truth in this VS guys?

I am informed that almost every service out of LHR using the new aircraft has been delayed above average for LHR.

C'mon, you can hardly be surprised that a new aircraft type experiences above average delays. What do you want, perfection?

Of course I would expect that new aircraft would experience delays of some sort during the first days of ops.

Normally a competent and switched-on traffic department would anticipate the same and ensure earliest possible boarding of passengers (assuming non-risk situation) and availability of crew in the vicinity.

However, the first 2, perhaps 3 flights ex the same destination I could understand delays being encountered. But surely not almost daily for more than 10 days?

What's wrong with aiming for perfection anyway? Isn't that RB's selling point?
