Hi guys,

Does anybody know what QBank is to be used for the PPL exam (English) in Belgium? I have E-GLE and it uses exact same questions as found in the ATPL databases such as Avex etc, including EASA trick questions - but filtered a bunch out to match the PPL learning objectives. Did the App-maker do a lazy job by just filtering from their ATPL database or is it representative for the real exam?

Because on the other hand, there is the BAFA Qbank (in the native language - Dutch) which is relatively easy, Ex.: can you fly a B747 with a PPL license? However, I won't be doing the Dutch exam!

Thanks in advance

I do not know whether Belgian CAA has PPL (A) Theory Question Bank in English, but I can suggest one way for you.

You can take theory exams under Austro Control. They provide PPL (A) Question Bank (English) in their web site. Their QB is really helpful and the number of questions is not much.

75-90% of the QB is same with real exam.

You can do your flights in Belgium. When you are ready, you go to Wien in order to take exams. You can take all exams in one day.

As far as I know, authorities accept PPL (A) Theory results taking in any EASA country like ATPL (A) Theory results.

Just a suggestion. :ok:

Wiebe, informeer eens op het forum van airwork.nl

On a sidenote, regarding the rather amusing "can you fly a B747 with a PPL license?" surely the answer must be "yes", or "yes, given the appropriate type rating"? Wasn't there some pop artist flying his personal B707 on a PPL? Travolta, pehaps?
