Frequent BA flyer here, "fondly" remember the Avro RJ GLA->LCY but thank god it's now the much more comfortable Embraer!

First time I spotted this a few months ago I thought my eyes were mistaken, but I clearly saw it last week - it looks like a twin engined RJ - it's got the stabiliser mounted on the top of the tail. Looking at the picture I grabbed, looks like it's got less of a sweep to the wing ....

Can't find it by power googling - can someone help me please?

Thank you!

Oh - it appears they made two twin-engined 146NRAs - is that what CitiFlyer are using?

Now that Finnair MD-11 is interesting as well.

I'd say it possibly was a Dornier 328 Jet - if it was a jet.

Dornier 328 Jet? Sun Air (A BA franchisee) operate them.

Yes, classic Dornier wing planform (on both the D328 and J328).

The BAe 146NRA never happened.

Wonderful - thank you everyone, mystery solved!

SunAir makes sense - they are not listed on the CitiFyler fleet pages anywhere.

Are they used on Scandi routes from LCY? I might try and fly in one next time I'm headed out there ....

I once flew BA from Munich to Manchester and they routed me via Billund so I had a pleasant couple of hours in a rather nice lounge there; it's also pretty close to Legoland.
